PERSONAL ALARM SYSTEMS (PAS)
PART 1 GENERAL
1.01 RELATED WORK FURNISHED BY OTHERS
A. PAS equipment is being installed under other State contracts, all work required by this
contract will be required to coordinated with the work of the other State contracts.
B. Certain services and materials identified as “(Provided or Furnished by Others)” in this
specification section are to be purchased by the owner through the State contracts.
1. The services being provided by others are identified in PART 1 of this specification
section.
a. Coordinate and schedule the performance of these services with the Director's
Representative so that they are performed to coincide with performance of the
work required by this contract.
2. The materials being provided or furnished by others are identified in PART 2 of this
specification section.
a. These materials are to be installed as part of the work required by this contract.
Contractors shall include the cost of the labor to install these materials in their
bid amount.
b. Coordinate and schedule the delivery of these materials with the Director's
Representative so that the materials are delivered prior to (or coinciding with)
when they are to be installed.
c. Coordinate the exact placement of these materials with the state contractor and
Director's Representative.
3. Unless clearly identified as “(Furnished or Provided by Others)” in this specification
section, Contractors shall include the cost for all work (materials, services, installation,
etc.) in their bid amount.
